Σκοπός της εκδήλωσης: Η ανάδειξη της σημαντικής προσωπικότητας του Πυθαγόρα, με απώτερο στόχο την αξιοποίηση της πνευματικής του κληρονομιάς στον πολιτιστικό τουρισμό της Σάμου.

“Pythagoras. Bridge of Philosophy, Culture and Tourism”, Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., in the event hall of the Samian Wine Museum.
Purpose of the event: The promotion of the important personality of Pythagoras, with the ultimate goal of utilizing his intellectual heritage in the cultural tourism of Samos.

19.15 – 20.00: N. McGilchrist, Art historian Winchester College and Oxford University, teacher, lecturer and author. “The Importance of Samos itself to Pythagoras’s thinking – and to the history of philosophy”.
20.00 – 20.30: I. Adamakopoulou, Geographer of Bordeaux, member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Mountaineering & Climbing Federation (E.O.O.A.), responsible for European and National trails. As well as vice-president of the European Mountaineering Federation EUMA.«Beyond the “Sun and Sea” model: The experience of Anavasi in promoting hiking in Samos and the importance of cooperation between organizations».
