Material: Clay dark gray in colour with intense traces of fire on both
the external and internal surface of the vessel, except from a zone in the interior
– near the base – that is reddish brown.

Coarse grained, containing many inclusions (mainly mineral and mica)
Preservation: The preservation is fragmentary; large part of the upper
body and the rim, along with the three handles are missing. Mended from several sherds and reconstructed.

Description: Handmade, deep, wide-mouthed cooking vessel. Its base is
flat, the body has the shape of an inverted truncated cone and the rim is not
formed. Probably it originally bore four tongue-shaped handles just below the
rim. Only one of them is preserved, along with the attachment of the second.
Three out of four handles have been reconstructed. The surface of the vessel is
smoothed externally and internally. This particular type is quite common among
Early Bronze Age cooking pots in the sites of Macedonia, while it is typologically
similar with contemporary storage vessels, though the latter are usually
larger.
